(1412 - 1413) Henry IV CARDBOARD GROAT Light coinage Spink 1726
Pellet to left and annulet to right of crown
[London Mint] VERY RARE type coin
Grade: VF+ Very dark in colour
* Very unusual - probably made for as a missing example of this coin - for a private collection.
** My many thanks to Jerome (J.B.L.) Smith, director of Numismaticus B. V. who
corrected my earlier identification of this "Cardboard" coin as being for Henry IV
after I had mis-identified it as an Edward III Groat !
