1852 Sovereign - shield-back Obv. All lettering of VICTORIA double struck. DEI just faintly. Base of truncation slightly double struck. It is possible that the coin has in fact been double struck rather than the legend and date letters repaired - singularly There is also a slight die crack from rim 6 o'clock, through the 1 on to base of bust. The die crack has made a small circular dot above the 1 which makes it look like a lower case "i". Date: ALL digit slightly double struck . Grade: A nice EF? coin with the reverse possibly even slightly better.
