1687 Crown - James II - Edge: TERTIO
Obv. Very slight haymarking on top part of hair.
Rev. The French shield at 6 o'clock has light haymarking.
Date: The 16 has been weakly struck.
Grade: Bright EF or better ? Very tiny metal flecks - which cannot really show up on
the picture. Caused by the metal mix at the time. It does not detract from what
is otherwise a really nice coin with virtually no wear.
