!978 Silver £1 mintmark "F" ?		Mintmark "F"

1978 Isle of Man silver 1 Pound.

The mintmark appears to be an "F" which seems high. The images of the coin and mintmark could be a "E" with the bottom right leg missing, except the shape of the outer lines, to the left, are at different angles to the "F" mintmark !

I am willing to hear of anyone's experience with this mintmark and what they might think it is "F" or "E" with broken right leg
