1680 Maundy 3d - Obv. Reads OAROLVS instead of CAROLVS
This is a repair to the 'C' and the die has been rotated sideways by 90 degree
(similar to the G over sideways G on the 1874 H farthing).
On both examples the top part of the A is blocked up !
The C is NOT over a 0 because if you look at the lettering the 0 is more oval.
This is round ! Rare and unlisted.
