1929 Maundy 3d - 4 + B Obv. Choice - Bright
Rev. There appears to be a faint 'fine' hairline scratch
from the lower right edge of the Crown to just above
the '9' of '29' and onwards to the leaf in the wreath.
The scratch looks worse on the picture than by the eye
as I only first noticed it when doing the scan !?
Grade: Obv. pAS Rev. EF+ (due to scratch otherwise it would
also be pAS). Bright
This date of 3d is only available as a Maundy coin as NO currency coins were issued
for this date. The mintage of 1,761 for the 3d is the smallest mintage for all of the
other denominations, of that date.
