This South African Krugerrand 4 coin gold proof set was made in 2017
to commemorate 50 years of the Krugerrand.
Only 100 sets were issued (SOLD OUT at the time of issue -
this is set is number 13 [1.070 AGW]
As listed above the set contains 1 oz; 1/20th oz & 1/50th oz
Each coin includes a special privy mark - A RARE set
There is also a 24ct gold-plated plaque - featuring a full map of Africa, the island of
Mozambique, a Springbok landing on a ledge and a large diamond. A small diamond
chip imbedded into the coin at the location of the "Free State".
I can find no example of this particular 3 coin special "2017 Krugerrand Combination set"
having been sold via the internet. These commemorative proof sets are extremely popular
and with only 100 having being issue - they are very hard to find.
