Restrike pattern – Type R78.   Peck 1258 – Bronzed  [R]

Obv.   1.  Draped bust wearing a large crown.

          2.  K . on the lowest fold of the shoulder drapery.

          3.  Only half a pearl above cross on front of crown.

Rev.   1.  Britannia seated on rock, with shield, trident & olive branch.

          2.  Middle prong of trident points to 1st limb of N

          3.  . .  on raised to right of rock, SOHO below shield.

          4.  Thin raised line around shield, except to left & right of SOHO.

          5.  4 short horizontal lines between trident and shield.

6.  New ship with poop deck but NO gunports.

7.  Under the stern is an irregular raised lump.

8.  A flaw runs from curved edge of sea, across Britannia’s foot, down to rocks.

9.  A flaw runs either side of the second 9 of 1799.
