Restrike pattern – Type R79.   Peck 1260 – Bronzed  [vs]

Obv.   1.  Draped bust – laureated.

2.  K. on the lowest fold of the shoulder drapery.

3.  A flaw from edge through 1st G of GEORGIUS to bust.

4.  Cluster of rust spots near G,O & I of GEORGIUS.

Rev.   1.  Britannia seated on rock, with shield, trident & olive branch.

          2.  Middle prong of trident points to 1st limb of N

          3.  . .  on raised to right of rock, SOHO below shield.

          4.  Thin raised line around shield, except to left & right of SOHO.

          5.  4 short horizontal lines between trident and shield.

6.  New ship with poop deck but NO gunports.

7.  Under the stern is an irregular raised lump.

8.  A flaw runs from curved edge of sea, across Britannia’s foot, down to rocks.

9.  A flaw runs either side of the second 9 of 1799.

         10.  A cluster of rust spots above ship and Britannia’s knee; between B & R;

     between RI & olive branch; and a single spot under right arm of T.
