1839 Shilling - 2nd issue - 2 + A (D. 853) EF bright
Date: '183' double struck, especially noticeable on the 3. The 9 has only been stuck ONCE.
Probably repairing or strengthening a reverse die possible 1st used in 1838 when only the 183 was entered and the last digit as in this case the 9 would be entered - later.
