Obv. GRATIA is widely spaced - A to back of Anne's hair bun.
This
is the other 1708 E bust
where the GRATIA is normal spacing (less than the above example).
Date: Type H/8 (As per Spink English Silver Coinage)
Edinburgh local issue. Z type for 1 & narrower 0
However, in ESC listed as date 8 over 7 - but no so in
this example.
*This example has a very unusual die flaw running horizontally from
the downward tip at the end of the 7 - across the leg and into the
crown - The effect is that the date could now be read as 1408 !
