1920 A Shilling - 3 + B (D. 1803) Obv. Reasonable head strike. Rev. Lion's nose weakly struck [The metal now used is 50% silver & 50% copper making it a harder metal for the dies to get a strong strike. This normally results in that the highest point, i.e. The lion's nose is not well struck as if it were with the softer 0.925 silver.] All early 1920's silver coins in high grade and good strikes are very hard to find. Bright Grade: EF+ (scarce in this grade)
