1853 Sixpence - Obv. There is a small die crack just touching the end tips of
the E of REG at 3 o'clock.
Slight scuffing. Slight dark tone on neck.
Rev. Strong double ghosting of Victoria's head (due to clashed dies).
Date: Roman I in date (Narrow) [type C] (see 1853 variety list)
Possible the Roman I is due to a repair to the 1 & an inverted 1 was used.
However, on very close examination no hint of the other 1.
Very Rare - unlisted.
