1855 Sixpence -  Obv. Several die cracks: Hairline crack, in VICTORIA,

                                        from edge through top of V.

                                        Below I & into Victoria's cheek from back of chin. 

                                       Through O & R also of VIC~

                                       Through T of BRIT~ & 2nd A, also of BRITANNIAR.

                                       Several die cracks around REG: F: D: into Victoria's truncated bust.

                                      *The whole coin is a mess of die cracks !

                                      Most of the letters in the legend have been re-struck.

                            Rev.  Ghosting of Victoria's head (due to clashed dies)

                                      Very strong die crack through the 8 of the date. 

                          Date:  Narrow date:  [type A] (see 1855 variety list).  

                        Grade: EF+ or better  Obv.  Bright.   Rev. Light goldish brown tone around wreath.
