Obv. Trace of ghosting of reverse shield behind Victoria's neck
Rev. Type A - Unbroken C in PENCE
Date: Type h - The top of the 4 is flat.
The 4 has a triangular tail.
The 49 appears to be of a similar Large font size as the 18
The horizontal bar of the 4 crosses just below the centre of
the vertical leg.
The 9 has a well rounded back and is fatter across the centre.
The 8 is double struck
All of the numerals are on the base line.
Grade: pAS Deep tone. Choice.
Sorry that the pictures are so poor. I really hate coins that have been slabbed !!!!
