Bullion Silver

GRADE

 Price ()

We have for sale bags of

pre 1947 silver coins

Our normal sale is for 5 or over bags

Ask our price !

Our minimum price for a 5 bag would be

140.00 (approximately *)

* The selling price is based, normally,

on the daily bullion price

(Our lowest rate is for bullion at

 14.00 or plus)

However, if silver falls below 14.00

we cannot sell below 28.00 per 1

~~~~~~~~~~
Price is calculated at
1 of pre 1947 coins weighs
3.636 Troy oz or 133 grams
or 1.818 Troy oz (of pure silver)
or 56.5 grams (of pure silver)
~~~~~~~~~

For a 5 bag

18.18 oz or 565 grams

9.09 oz or 282.5 grams

of pure silver

silver price  x 10% approximately

So at 14.00 x 9.09 = 127.25

plus 10% (12.725) = 139.99

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So whatever the silver price
(at 14.00 or over per ounce)
Multiply by 10 for a 5 bag of
Pre 1947 silver coins
Simple !
~~~~~~~~~~

i.e.

Silver at 14.00 per ounce = 140.00 per 5 bag

Silver at 15.00 per ounce = 150.00 per 5 bag

etc.

~~~~~~~~~~
We can supply the bags by denomination:
Halfcrowns - (40 coins)
Florins - (50 coins)
Shillings - (100 coins)
Sixpence (200 coins) SOLD OUT
or mixed denominations
The coins will be of mixed grade
from worn to Fair (possibly minor faults)
The normal weight for new coins would be
 18.18 troy ounce or 565 grams
The above bags of coins will probably weigh slightly
less due to  normal wear (especially the sixpences !)
~~~~~~~~~~~

Many of the 'bullion' bags will contain some

 Fair or possibly even fine grade coins.

However,

If you require coins that are Fair or Fine

The 5 bag is not the answer !

For coins in those grades check our

listing below - with prices.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The (ASW - Actual Silver Weight) in ounces
is given for the silver coins we can offer
for sale at present.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Please note also that the pictures showing on this page

are to represent the type of coin on offer and are

NOT an indication of the grade of coins offered.

For coin in higher grades please check our normal stock list

via the GB Coin List.
