(D.1872) [0.925 silver] * Very scarce
* The 0.925 silver can only be determined
by the 'ring' of the coin. Also the coin is
more 'silver' in colour than those issued
in 0.500 grade silver which are slightly
greyish in colour in worn grade.
George V 1920 - 1936 (0.500 silver)
(D.1873) [0.500 silver]
Grade could be better than EF - very
difficult to tell with this coin in the first
year of the 0.500 silver mix !
A hairline die crack - Bright
All over greyish tone
An interesting example of the problems
caused by the new 0.500 silver mix
