1921 A Sixpence - Obv. A reasonably well struck head strike for this issue There is an flaw in the metal - resulting in a tiny bit of metal missing. About 2 mm above the top of George's ear. Die cracks appear in that area around the flaw. Other die cracks are a the base of the neck and from the edge (6 o'clock) to the tip of George's truncated neck Due to the 0.500 silver - poor metal mixes and flaws were common. The edge of the rim is very flat in places from 12 to 3 o'clock & especially from 6 to 9 o'clock where the border teeth are completely flat ! Rev. The lion is very well struck. Otherwise the coin is pleasant. Bright EF+
