GR 1839 Ba

Obv. Improvised image of colon dots after F: D:

taken from similar coin.

GR 1839 - Rev. Ba

Image taken from other 1839

GR 1839 Ba - Slabbed by NGC as MS64

Obv. There appears to be only a single colon dot after the F in the right size.

There appears to be small 'replacement' colon dots above and to the left of where the

colon dot should be. There is the outline of where the colon dot was (flat !)

There is also a small colon dot below and slightly to the left of the lower colon dot after F:

The D: also has a small extra colon dot just below and to the left of the lower colon dot.

As I am unable to take an image from the slabbed coin I have produced an image via

Photoshop that approximates what is on the coin.

Rev. Type B (Broken C in PENCE - See either 1838 or 1839 for further details).

Date: Type a  (Thick font 3 & Large 9 in date - 39 entered slightly below the base line).

                  Grade: Choice  deep tone  pAS

Sorry that the picture is so poor. I tried on the scanner - worse !

This is with phone camera - rubbish !  I really hate coins that have been slabbed !!!!
