GR 1839 Bc - Obv. Tiny, pin-head size indent on Victoria's cheek (virtually invisible) Small extra colon dot after D: of F: D: - just below and to the left. Rev. Type B (Broken C in PENCE - See either 1838 or 1839 for further details). Nice ghosting image of Victoria's face between PENCE & Britannia's left hand on her trident part way down to her right leg. Victoria's forehead, nose, lips, mouth and chin very clear. This is caused due to die clashing. . Date: Type c The 9 is slightly smaller and narrower that the 9 used with type A & B. The top inner circle is slightly more tall oblong ! The 3 as in type B is thinner than that in type A and also appears to be just below the base line. Grade: Choice Obv. Deeper tone than the reverse. Rev. Slightly paler tone mainly around the legend. EF+ or better.
